Dr Yannis-Adam Allouache commenced his appointment as a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Asian Urbanisms Cluster with effect from 12 August 2025, as part of the DIJ-ARI Asian Infrastructures Research Partnership.
Dr Yannis-Adam’s research explores the politics of transregional migration and its intersections with urban environmental transformations. He received his PhD in Geography from NUS in 2024. At ARI, he is developing a research project on visions of green urbanism within and across Singapore, the Gulf, and the Arabian Peninsula, contributing to debates in geography, urban environmental studies, and Arabia–Asia scholarship.
