FUTUREMIG – Futures of Migration and Mobility Partnership
How do we understand and better shape human migration and mobility as a valuable resource in a globally-interconnected and technology-driven world in the future? As the future of international mobility remains uncertain, the theory and practice of future studies emerge as a powerful tool to imagine plausible futures. The increasing adoption of Advanced Digital Technologies (ADT) also makes us rethink our understanding of current challenges and future potentials of human mobility and migration. The way we think about "the future" and future scenarios of human mobility has an enormous impact on our actions in the present. FUTUREMIG – Futures of Migration and Mobility Partnership aims to imagine the future of migration in a scientific yet imaginative and creative way through a methodologically robust thought-experiment based on human and AI-generated foresight.
