Living with Covid-19 in Southeast Asia

ARI’s Inter-Asian Engagements Cluster has commenced visual project crowdsourcing images of Covid-19 across Southeast Asia. The project is focusing on themes of crisis, control and community. We are looking for photos of official and unofficial signage about social distancing, lockdowns, closure of shops etc along with images of how space has been repurposed or restricted during lockdowns.

These images will become part of a visual repository which we hope will give researchers a primary source account of Covid-19 across the region for later studies of the pandemic. With lockdowns easing in some countries, we encourage you snap a few images of a few images – both of captivating/unusual and more banal signage – and upload them via this Google Form: https://forms.gle/phuqzNUYWkJjoNoL8.
