An artist for everyone

It was reported that a series of programmes have been lined-up to commemorate the late arts doyen Kuo Pao Kun’s 10th death anniversary. This includes the Kuo Pao Kun International Conference, the first and biggest of its kind, which will bring together academics and practitioners from Singapore and abroad to discuss all things related to Kuo Pao Kun. The conference is organised by the Asia Research Institute at NUS, National Museum of Singapore, The Tangent and The Theatre Practice, and will be held on 14 and 15 September at the National Museum of Singapore.

The NUS Indian Dance will also be putting up a performance titled “Vriksha”, choreographed by Cultural Medallion recipient Santha Bhaskar. The performance will be held on 6 October at the University Cultural Centre, NUS...
