Cool beans: Migrant workers in Singapore learn to be baristas
ARI Research Associate, Marcel Bandur, who is also a volunteer coordinator at Transient Workers Count Too (TWC2), came up with the idea of equipping some out-of-work Bangladeshi migrant workers in Singapore with barista skills for the booming cafe culture in Dhaka. He recently took them to The Coffee Roaster at National University of Singapore for training.
