Donald Trump has signed an executive order extending a trade truce with China until Nov. 10 so that the countries can work out their differences amidst the threat of escalating tariffs. Mahbubani was speaking at the launch of a book he co-edited — "Can Asians Think of Peace? Essays on Managing Conflict in the Asian Century" on Aug. 22.
