New work pass proposed for maids taking care of elderly
A team of researchers from the Asia Research Institute at NUS proposed a skills-based, tiered system of work pass for foreign maids who look after the elderly. The recommendation is a joint effort by Prof Brenda Yeoh, Research Leader at ARI’s Asian Migration Research Cluster and Dean of the NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, and Ms Charmian Goh, Research Assistant at ARI.
