President S R Nathan has appointed Chua Sock Koong, Lily Kong and Richard Rokmat Magnus members of the Public Service Commission (PSC). From yesterday, the three new members have joined the PSC for a term of five years. The PSC now has 10 members assisting the chairman, Eddie Teo.

Prof Kong, 44, is vice-president, university and global relations of NUS and director of its Asia Research Institute. She has authored and edited many books and is on the editorial boards of numerous international journals.
