Dr Bosman Batubara commenced his appointment as a Research Fellow with the Asian Urbanisms Cluster with effect from 20 January 2025.
Dr Bosman graduated with a PhD in Human Geography in 2022 from the Planning and International Development Department, University of Amsterdam and Water Governance Department, IHE-Delft Institute for Water Education. In his current research, he explores the expansion of urban frontiers beyond the city by examining the flows of labour, rock, and energy for Indonesia’s new capital city, Nusantara.
