Ms. Reetu Kumari joined as Research Assistant with the Asia Urbanisms Cluster on 2 May 2024. She is a graduate in Urban Planning (2014) from CEPT University, India, undergraduate in Architecture (2012) from Nagpur University, India and recently finished her certification in Introduction to Applied GIS from NUS (2024). She has acquired close to four years of experience across South Asian countries in research, physical urban planning, spatial data analytics and architecture. She has research interests in sustainable development of urban settlements and is keen to investigate planning models and methods to mitigate issues in cities for a sustainable and resilient future. She will be working with Asst Prof Naomi C. Hanakata on her project, “Singapore’s Entanglement in the Energy Transition. Challenges and Potentials for a Regional, Just Transition.”
