Mr Tran Quang Anh (Billy) commenced his appointment as a Research Assistant with the Religion and Globalisation Cluster on 27 May 2025. He will be working in the Perspectives on Identity, Nationality, Diasporic Affinities, and Home (PINDAH) project.
Billy graduated from Yale-NUS College with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Global Affairs in 2024. His undergraduate thesis examined the impact of scholarship programmes on young Vietnamese migrant students. Beyond academia, he is actively involved in social impact work and volunteers in various NGOs that support migrants and marginalised communities. He is also a trained actor, improv theatre performer, and storyteller.
