The Asia Research Institute (ARI) and Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) present a launch event for the latest book by Professor Prasenjit Duara, The Crisis of Global Modernity: Asian Traditions and a Sustainable Future.

In this major new study, Prof Duara expands his influential theoretical framework to present circulatory, transnational histories as an alternative to nationalist history.
